Dave White, an engineer by training with two decades in the publishing software industry, is on the forefront of the technologies driving the publishing software industry. He has helped define XML standards, shaped product and business development strategies, and shared his extensive knowledge of science and technology with diverse groups at publishing conferences. His experience spans both the technical and business sides of the industry and contributes to his current role as Chief Technology Officer at Quark Software Inc. Prior to joining Quark, White was vice president of product strategy at PTC and Arbortext where he led key initiatives for executing on emerging technologies, strategic partnerships and acquisitions. White graduated from Purdue University with a degree in electrical engineering technology.
