Leonard Cervantes is the Product Manager for Mobile Apps and Emerging Platforms at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Len has lived in the Mobile space since the early days of shortcodes, ringtones and WAP sites on feature phones. After launching the mobile arm for MTV Canada (the first truly multi-platform broadcast channel in the country), Len took his talents to the CBC to manage the Corporation's portfolio of apps. Recent highlights include high-profile app product launches for the 2014 Sochi Olympics, 2014 FIFA World Cup, relaunches of CBC News and CBC Radio for both iOS 8 and Android 5/Lollipop and just recently an Apple Watch App for CBC News. Who knows what 2015 will bring (well, Len does)? Len's focus is on effective Product Management, Team Building, Diversity and the intersection between Technology and Philanthropy.
