Maureen Thormann is currently the Section Manager of Digital Customer Experience at National Instruments.  NI works to transform the way engineers and scientists approach their test, control, and design applications through graphical programming software and modular hardware.  Around the world, engineers and scientists are simplifying development, increasing productivity, and reducing time to test with NI products.

In Maureen's current role, she works with her team to provide best practices on user experience, marketing strategy/content and usability on the web.  In this capacity defines the site user experience, site requirements and outlines information architecture all while focusing on the customer experience.  Along with these responsibilities, she drives user-friendly innovation on the site through focus groups and usability testing and surveys for new designs.  Maureen has been instrumental in increasing conversion metrics, the use of analytics tools, and the adoption of more managed content across the site. 

Prior to this role, she worked as a marketing communications manager for a startup in Austin, TX where she developed and executed projects for the design, writing, and production of marketing communications presentations and materials.  She worked to develop corporate literature, products and services brochures, case studies, and graphic artwork as well as managed corporate events. 

She currently resides in Austin and enjoys reading and long distance running.
