David earned a Master's degree from MIT and then was seduced into becoming a photojournalist for 15 years, covering wars, the Space Shuttle, Olympics, Papal trips, politics, earthquakes and other events. One of his images was the runner up for the Pulitzer Prize. He left the Associated Press to use his technical background to help his colleagues in the news industry make the analog to digital workflow conversion by starting a multimedia database company that serves NASA, COMCAST, the White House (for three consecutive administrations), the New York Times, health care companies, many news organizations and others. David is currently focused on pioneering the use of Deep Learning systems to bring truly useful advances for people looking for exactly the right digital imaging for their needs.
